NEW! STATE OF NEW YORK COMPLIANT ADA SIGNS

The state of New York passed legislation in 2014 that requires the replacement of the old International Symbol of Accessibility (ISA) Icon with a new 'active' version. Enforcement of this new legislation began in October 2014 throughout the state of New York, and requires that all new building signs, along with any signs being replaced for any reason, must feature this new 'active wheelchair' icon. The code also requires removing the word 'handicapped' from all signs and other communications, replacing it with the word 'accessible.' ADA Sign Factory is ready to meet your State of New York sign needs today!
